This is my version of an amigurumi crochet mushroom. It is a simple and easy to follow pattern that beginners will love. I have had this pattern, along with my amigurumi steamed bun pattern and some others that I will soon post, kept in my files for 2 years now and finally decided to properly share it with you all. Hopefully these patterns can accompany you during these times and give you a glimmer of brightness and happiness with their little safety eyes and cute threaded smiles. 🙂

Crochet Amigurumi Mushroom

Materials Needed

• 1.25 mm Crochet Hook
• Any Fine yarn (weight 2) will do but I used:
  • Katia Fama White
  • Katia Fama Camel
  • Katia Fama Red
• Pair of 5 mm Safety Eyes
• Sewing Needle and Thread
• Stuffing

Abbreviations

legend
ch = chain
mr = magic ring
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 stitches in one stitch)
dec = (join 2 stitches to make one stitch)
FO = finish off
Notes: Pattern is written in US crochet terms. Pattern is numbered in rounds. Do not count the chain 1 of the magic ring as a single crochet

Rnd 3: (sc 1, inc) x 6 (18)

slip stitch, leave a tail to be able to sew them on

Safety Eyes

• Place between round 15 and 16
• 6 to 7 stitches apart

Sewing Thread

• Place from round 9 to 10
• Smile is 2 rows tall and 3 stitches wide
